Acrylic Metal Primer M04

MSDS

Technical Data Sheet

Product Information
This unique water-thinned, acrylic primer eliminates flash rusting; plus protects the steel from corrosion. Because it is water thinned, it has less odor and reduces the risk of fire hazard. This product eliminates the need for expensive solvents, and also performs well as a tie coat or barrier coat over zinc coated surfaces. This primer can be applied to damp surfaces, and adheres well to most hard-to-coat substrates. It can also be applied to poured or cast concrete and brick.

Rust Pretreatment M84
MSDS Technical Data Sheet
Product Information
This product is designed to penetrate rusted areas converting the iron oxide into iron phosphate which is chemically inert. This hard black substance increases the coating adhesion. it makes it difficult for water and air to permeate thru the coating and attack the metal. After the treated surface has dried, remove any gray powdery residue by wiping, using clean rags and solvent. Treated surfaces should receive proper coating system within 48 hours after treating.

Recommended Uses
Converting rust that can not feasibly be removed by other methods, supplements other cleaning methods, tanks, railings, catwalk gratings, machinery, and equipment

Keep from freezing.

Not for immersion service.

Concrete Pretreatment & Etch M85
MSDS Technical Data Sheet
Product Information
This pretreatment is designed to penetrate and remove concrete laitance and other foreign matter. The process neutralizes lime and alkali, and opens up the concrete surface so the coating can penetrate. This product contains inhibitors which keep the acid from attacking equipment and drains. It also contains extenders which provide a more even etch of larger areas. The floor should be dampened before applying the M85 and all steps should be taken to ensure the floor remains damp during the cleaning process.

Recommended Uses
Etching and pre-treating concrete surfaces prior to painting, poured concrete walls, floors, and pre-cast panels

Apply only to fully cured concrete. Dampen floor before applying M85. Keep all concrete surfaces damp during the cleaning process. Read safety information section for proper handling of this acid. Caution: Always add acid to water. Never reduce acid by adding water to acid.
